There are lots of ways to get involved in the clean ocean movement.
The #1 way to support us is by joining our Bracelet of the Month Club or signing up for our Plastic Offset Program; these subscriptions provide the ongoing funding we need to support our existing cleanups and expand them into new locations.
You can also visit our shop and purchase any product to pull a pound of trash from the ocean; then use what you buy to raise awareness about our mission and inspire others to get involved.
If you’ve got a more entrepreneurial spirit, become a 4ocean Brand Ambassador and earn a sweet commission just by sharing our mission.
We also offer a variety of partnership opportunities for brands and businesses who want to have a positive impact on plastic pollution in our oceans. (Even if you’re not in a leadership position, you can share this page with decision makers in your company and encourage them to get involved).
But cleanups won’t solve the ocean plastic crisis on their own. And you can still support our mission without spending any money with us. Here are just a few suggestions!
Review and follow your local recycling guidelines to help improve recycling rates
Do what you can to reduce your plastic footprint by refusing single-use plastic and swapping plastic for a reusable or sustainable alternatives whenever possible
Talk to your friends and family about the clean ocean movement and why you support it
Organize a cleanup and get friends, family, and/or your local community involved
Contact your local representatives in support of ocean-friendly legislation
Write to your favorite brands and share your concerns about the plastics they use in their products and packaging
Support other ocean conservation organizations by donating time, money, supplies, or by simply sharing their message
